Paul grew up in Boulder and began working with power tools when he was seven years old. It was not long after that when he had full access to his parents’ wood shop. His summer work during high school and college included various construction projects,  fire mitigation in Sunshine Canyon, and landscape contracting.

By the time he decided to make a career of residential construction, he had already become well-known in the Boulder community for his construction skills, work ethic, honesty, and fair pricing.

He has a bachelor’s degree in business with a minor in accounting from Fort Lewis College.

He is married and has two children. All four are bicycle enthusiasts.
